Wills

Our Personal Legal Services solicitors review and draft Wills including advising upon trusts and inheritance tax planning.

How we can help

Many of us do not make a Will or do not appreciate the formalities of making a valid Will (which is vital for the Will to be successfully submitted and accepted to probate). This can lead to unintended consequences and can result in loved ones not being provided for in the event of an intestacy (dying without a valid Will).

Writing a Will or amending by way of a Codicil, can be a difficult task without expert help. However, our Personal Legal Services lawyers provide tailored advice, giving you peace of mind that your affairs will be in order.

Some of our lawyers are members of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (www.step.org), Solicitors for the Elderly (www.solicitorsfortheelderly.com) and hold the STEP Advanced Certificate in Will Preparation.

Unlike many “Will Writers”, we are fully regulated by a professional body to a high standard. Many Will Writers are legally unqualified, uninsured, untraceable and levy extra charges on top of what is advertised.

We will gladly review existing Wills and Codicils and provide advice on any changes which we would recommend making depending on your circumstances.
